5 out of 5 starsI recently hired Decks by Ryan, LLC to build a large deck with a full roof attached to the back of my home — essentially creating a true extension of my house — and I couldn’t be happier with the results. This was a major project involving structural connections to the main home, custom deck construction, stairs, roofing, trim, lighting, and new windows/doors. From start to finish, Ryan and his entire crew were outstanding. They were professional, friendly, and incredibly respectful of both my home and my family. They were great around my kids and even my dog, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. One standout moment that really showed the character of this team happened during a daily cleanup. The crew discovered a rabbit nest with four baby rabbits tucked under a pallet of wood. Instead of simply moving on, they took spare scrap wood and built a small protective shelter around the nest so the babies would be safe — especially from my dog. My kids were thrilled; they love checking on wildlife, and now they had a little shelter to help care for the rabbits until they were grown. It’s the kind of thoughtful, caring gesture you don’t see every day from a construction crew. Their dedication to the job was equally impressive. They worked through the intense June and July heat, and even on rainy days they set up pop-up tents so they could keep making progress while protecting their tools and materials. Every day ended with a meticulous cleanup, leaving the work area safe and tidy. The craftsmanship speaks for itself. Every detail — the main deck, flooring, stairs, roof structure, trim, lighting, and window/door installation — came out fantastic. The finished product is beautiful, solid, and clearly built with care and attention to detail. I’m extremely pleased with the work and the experience. From the beginning, Ryan was reliable, trustworthy and clearly communicated all work involved and how long it would take. He made great recommendations to improve the deck and keep costs down. His prices were reasonable but the quality of his work is exceptional. I just recommended him to my mother for a deck at her house. I would recommend him to anyone looking to add a deck! As anyone can see by Ryan's video post below on his wall and our own photographs of our deck the craftsmanship put into their work is top quality. As the son of a tradesman, I am incredibly picky about who I hire, and trust, to perform work at my home due to the high standards embedded in me from my upbringing. I can say, without doubt, that Ryan and his team are perfectionist and take tremendous pride in the quality of not just their labor but in the materials used to complete the job.
